Albert is Miami bound. Well, at least for a visit...

Pujols would be interesting in Miami. He and Reyes, added to the team in place, would be fun to watch. If he does sign there, I could see Loria and company dealing Gaby Sanchez and Logan Morrison to Tampa for Shields, while signing a LF (or going all defense and putting both Peterson and Bonifacio out there).

I wonder what they'd do with Gaby Sanchez. He's certainly not a guy who stops you from signing Pujols, but he's better than the bench. They already have one 1B in the OF.

First he'll end up at the bank, then the HOF.

Texas is a good fit as well, although the stress of switching leagues and the prospect of being shuffled to the DH may keep him in the NL.

I feel he will be back in St. Louis.

If he ends up in Miami, I bet he lasts about as long as A-Rod did in Texas.

I bet regardless of where he signs he gets a full no trade clause.

On a team that will regret the signing in less than a year.

Even with his late season surge, he lost nearly half of his value in the last two seasons. Considering his age, he's not going to get that back, and most likely continue to decline.

So did A-Rod. I'm not saying the Marlins would just sign him with the intent to trade him shortly after, but rather that the Marlins would come to regret their signing him and so would Pujols when the team doesn't win. Basically A-Rod in Texas Redux.

I'm hoping Pujols signs with the Angels, but I wouldn't be "shocked" if he ends up in Miami.

Btw...I know the definition of shocked, so we don't need to go over that in this thread. ;)
