Now, if only the Reds would follow suit and get rid of the black.

So far we have had uni unveils by the Marlins, Padres, O's and Mets. The Marlins had to do something with the name change and the other 3 teams stink. If you can't get them excited by the players make it look like you are doing something with the laundry.

more throwbacks! Love the classic look of the old Mets uni.

Now, throw some stirrups, or at least long blue socks on those, and you have a winner.

I wonder who is going to win the 2012 MLB Fashion Awards?? ;)

So far, I like the Mets...

It's not about people getting excited; it's about people spending money.

Everything old is new again. The Mets should have brought back Howard Johnson and Gary Carter to model those.

I'm waiting for someone to unveil stirrups for 2012

not much of a change for the Jays logo- why bother?

Simple. Merchandising. New logo means new opportunities to sell stuff to fans who thought they were done buying stuff.

Sorry you are right. What I should have said is "If you can't get fans excited enough by the players to buy them ticks, give them new laundry to buy."

Oh, it is a big change over what they have been using for the last seven years.

That's true. Not sure how I forgot about that. Honestly, I haven't seen many Blue Jays games since the Joe Carter-Roberto Alomar days.

It just seems like so many of these "new uniforms" don't have any noticeable changes, except for the Marlins (obvious), and Orioles.

I didn't notice anything spectacular about the Padres and Mets.

Wow. The new Jay is so much more menacing.

To use a word I haven't used in years but now for the second time in a week, the new Blue Jay logo is more ornithologically correct.

Yeah, and it looks a whole lot more like a Blue Jay too, and stuff.

I like everything about that new Blue Jays logo. It's familiar like their legacy logo but cleaner without straying into tragic territory. This makes up for that awful logo they've been using the last few years.

Well done.

The change from that old Jay to the newest one does remind me of that amazing Arizona Cardinal change

Blue Jays are a lot meaner than sissy Cardinals
