Though I get long in the tooth hoping for a deal.With Pujols gone and the Central wide open,it's time to grab a few impact players and make a run at this thing.Especially with Votto in a contract year.Or risk having the farm club turn into a retirement home for potential players.We are loaded with talent,time to move them or just sit idle season after season.
Much like a riverboat gambler,I would put all the big chips on the table and go for it.I'm sure some deals may backfire on us in due time,but others may blossom.It's a high risk/reward like any other business.We are all just sick and tired of business as usual though.
