Just thought I'd ask everyone's favorite Christmas song. I like O Holy Night and Carol of the Bells.

I always liked "O Holy Night" until every person who ever thought of singing had to do a rendition.

In terms of sacred music I prefer "The First Noel".

In terms of profane christmas music I enjoy Straight No Chaser's version of everything, but mostly their 12 days of Christmas.

When I was a teenager we used to go caroling to raise money for charity. Does anyone still do that? Anyway, I love songs that remind me of those times:

God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
Away In The Manger
O Come All Ye Faithful
Deck The Halls

Besides those, I like the old Christmas classics, but it has to be a specific version:
White Christmas - Bing Crosby
Blue Christmas - Elvis Presley
The Christmas Song (Chestnuts roasting...) - Nat King Cole (I also like an Aaron Neville rendition)
A Holly Jolly Christmas - Burl Ives
Rudolph - Gene Autry
Little Drummer Boy - Bing Crosby and David Bowie
Silent Night - Boys II Men

and forgive me, but this year I actually have enjoyed this:
Under The Mistletoe - Justin Bieber

I guess I like ALL Christmas music. <not so famous shrug> Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go check if I've got a fever.

Growing up, my Dad always filled our home with Christmas music during the season. He had one of the most extensive album collections I had ever seen.

I remember when Firestone and Goodyear use to annually come out with Christmas albums. Dad had them all.

When I was only about four years old my parents' farmhouse burned, which destroyed all of their records collection. After that the only Christmas record we had until I was in my teens was an album of Christmas songs sung by Perry Como. As a result I still have a soft spot for Como and Christmas songs.
There are two many Christmas songs I love for me to pick a favorite, but....
White Christmas-Bing Crosby
Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas-Judy Garland
The Christmas Song ("Chestnuts")-Mel Torme
O Holy Night-Martina McBride
God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen-Perry Como
Blue Christmas-Elvis Presley
Emmanuel-Amy Grant
Merry Christmas Darling-The Carpenters
What Child Is This?-Martina McBride
Baby It's Cold Outside-Dean Martin and Martina McBride
I'll Be Home For Christmas-Bing Crosby
Mary Did You Know?--too many versions to list

I remember my folks having albums put out by Firestone. They were really good traditional Christmas songs on them.

My favorite has to be White Christmas by Bing Crosby. Nobody does it better than the original crooner of this song.

Two classics:
The Christmas Song- Mel Torme
It's Cold Outside- Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald

Nothing says Christmas to me like "Linus and Lucy" by the Vince Guaraldi Trio.
It's hard not to just say the whole soundtrack to Charlie Brown Christmas isn't the best Christmas song ever. I tend to think of it as all one song.

As Kool-Aid would say "OH YEAH!"

In our household, Dad made watching Lawrence Welk a staple. We kids didn't care much for it.... other then the Lennon Sisters, and the other "WelkGirls"

Yesterday was the last day of work at Honda prior to our Holiday shutdown. A lot of the workers still have that last day scheduled off, so I got "farmed out" of my department to cover that shortage. And I always like doing new stuff, something different. So yesterday I got to drive cars in (CRVs and Crosstours) from the outside lot that needed various repairs and quality checks.

I had the radio tuned to Columbus' 94.7 which plays nothing but Christmas music this time of year. It was quite enjoyable.

And a buddy made me a copy of Time-Life's Treasury of Christmas collection (4 CDs).

My favorite Christmas album, no doubt.

I like "I'll Be Home For Christmas" the best as a generic song (i.e. regardless of who's singing it). But my favorite Christmas recording -- combination of singer and song -- is Bing Crosby and "White Christmas." That trophy's retired as far as I'm concerned.
