This really is a stupid poll. In order to have a poll, you'd need to have items that can't be inclusive with each other. All of the options can happen at the same time. What are you trying to prove? That Heisey can't hit 25 Home Runs playing for a championship team?

The poll is conditional- if only one were to happen, which scenario would make you happiest. It isn't asking which is most likely or best.

 whatever.

No matter what there will be naysayers. Let it play out before then. If it turns positive, don't bask in glory.

Option 1 has nothing to do with options 2, 3 or 4.
Option 2 has nothing to do with options 1, 3 or 4.
Option 3 has nothing to do with options 1, 2 or 4.
Option 4 has nothing to do with options 1, 2 or 3.

Come again, what was the point of this poll?

I think every fan is different and enjoys the baseball season for different reasons. The Reds can trade familiar players for better "outside" players and win the WS but I can see how someone would rather watch the Reds sink or swim with the players they are familiar with. I wanted to see what would make people happiest- bottom line winning, seeing a part time player get his shot, seeing a fringe prospect get a chance, or not having to have their opinions on Travis Wood and Sean Marshall challenged by reality.

any answer but Reds win the WS is wrong

I did not answer.Never more biased poll have I seen.We are in bad shape with Heisey playing fulltime in left. Was a time I thought he could, but now with the chance to had a legit hitter and fielder, they better do it.I'm worried more about Stubbs leading off with all his K's.

Let's borrow a football quote from Herm Edwards for this one..."You play to win the game!".

Isn't everything else just eye-candy?

Too bad Herm didn't coach the way he spoke.
