Ok, the kids just got an xbox for Christmas. Happily, dad has discovered that it has an internet connection with MLBtv. So I'm asking some of the younger more technology hip posters on this site to explain. Can you watch mlb.com games on the tv thru xbox just as you would watch them on the computer?

Do you get any different features or is it the same function as I'm used to on the computer?

Wow, they must have just added this, because last I checked this was not available on Live. It will have the same features as the PC version, although the interface might be slightly different. So if you have a sub to mlb.tv, and a sub to xbox live gold, you will be able to watch mlb games on your tv through the xbox.

You have to have a subscription to both MLBtv and Xbox Live but you will be able to watch all your games with HD quality and on demand

It depends on how long your purchase it for. It's 5 a month if you purchase for a year, slightly more expensive in smaller increments. However there are constantly deals online where you can get the service for cheaper. For instance right now best buy is selling 12 months for $40. If you buy prepaid cards you can choose when to redeem them, if you buy from microsoft it redeems instantly I'm pretty sure.

I also have found it to be on the Roku box too, for those that have one. It is great.
