AquireCoco Crisp
Crisp and Heisey in centerfield.

Trade Stubbs for Michael Morse (Righthanded number 4 hitter)

They would love to move Jayson Werth to a corner spot and
they have Bryce harper at the other corner.

If the Nationals need more, their weakness is 2nd base. We could include
Chris Valaika.

Lineup - Crisp, phillips, votto, Morse, bruce, rolen,Meso, cozart

The last move would be a closer and try to trade for Emilio Bonifacio ss/lf

This gives flexability with Bonifacio/Crisp leadoff and Morse/heisey cleanup and gives us insurance against Cozart injury.

Crisp just signed with the A's, can cross that one off the list.

Crisp who? Rice Crisp because why would you want Co-Co crisp over Stubbs?

why would I want Crisp over Stubbs? 200+ k's

The Nationals really need a centerfielder. We could use this need to aquire Morse for left field and cleanup or Storen closer. Heisey can hold down Center for the redlegs.

I will take the younger, cheaper Stubbs who will improve over an aging player any day.

No offense to the starter of this topic but thank god we no longer have to worry about adding Crisp. I'll take our current lineup over adding him any day. Now let's move on from the other CoCo!

There is no question that Stubbs is younger, cheaper, and a better defensive centerfielder than Crisp.

My point is that heisey is young cheap and a better offensive centerfielder.

Stubbs (200k's) should be traded to get a leftfielder to hit cleanup.

Does a trade of Stubbs to the Nationals for Morse make the reds better ?

Morse - Heisey - Bruce

Heisey - Stubbs - Bruce

Morse would be an upgrade in left but I don't think they would make that trade.

Luke Scott, please. Could easily see him hitting thirty bombs.

Luke Scott isn't that good of a fielder, i would rather give Vlad a chance in left. I would love to see the reds get bonifaco though.

I dont even know if Vlad can walk out to left field anymore, let alone play it if he got there.

Vlad is strictly a DH. he may still have a great arm but I agree I dont think he could even walk out of the infield.

I like Vlad more than most of the options available.

I would rather sign Manny Ramerez to a minor league contract and have him prove he is ready at the all-star break.

He (by far) is the best #4 hitter that is unsigned and afordable
