Victor Martinez tore his ACL & might be out for the whole year.

Huge blow, they are a hard luck franchise. Seems that they always have some big hit to their team every single year.

I like them lot too, probably my second favorite AL team, second to the Rangers.

Thats stinks for them and him. Tigers are my number 2 team too, as it is my dads lifelong favorite team.

I'm glad I don't use that to decide who my favorite teams are. My dad is a Steeler/Pirate fan.

The tigers will still be competitive this year in a weak division but they will need to top the twins who should have a bounce back year and the Indians

Well, my fav team is the Reds, the Tigers are prob #2 for me since I grew up hearing about the Tigers and went to a lot of games, including game 7 of the series, nostalgia brings it back for me.

My dads a big Yankees fan and 90%of my family are Yankees fans since my cousin played for them in the 70's. I have to kinda root for them esp. since its a family thing. I get alot of razzing about how my team never makes the playoffs so its kinda nice that the yanks win every year. gives me a reason to watch the playoffs
