Antonio Perez (32) -Remember when he was supposed to be the sleeper in the Junior Griffey deal?

Kenny Kelly (33) -Former U. of Miami QB whose Reds career consisted of nine ABs.

Tim Pugh (45) -In a three-month period in 1996, Pugh went through the waiver process four times, going from the Reds to the Royals to the Reds to the Royals and back to the Reds. I hope he kept his apartments in both cities.

Jeff Branson (45) -Second-round pick of the Reds who blossomed into a nice little complimentary player. Currently the hitting coach for the Indianapolis Indians.

Bob Uecker (77) -You probably know as much or more about Ueck than I do. I'll just mention that in 1967 he played only 59 games but led the league in passed balls... mostly due to catchinig Phil Niekro.

George Blaeholder -Known for popularizing the slider. Jimmie Foxx called him the hardest pitcher to hit he ever faced. George's career record was 104-125, though, so not enough people must have shared Jimmie's wiew.

Adding Bob Nieman - Born in Cincinnati. He is one of only two players in MLB history to hit home runs in his first two big-league at-bats. The other is Keith McDonald in 2000.
