I'm not sure baseball should rush into this designated hitter experiment that's not quite 40 years old yet.

If there's a designated hitter, there should be a designated pitcher who pitches to the designated hitter.

All I can say is, Aroldis Chapman is a fine problem to have.

This is the time of the year when even small-market teams like the Mets can pretend they have a chance.

Drew Stubbs is like an Adam Dunn who can run, field and hit.

"The player is the player," said the man with two first names.

Maybe the National League should play by 1869 rules.
