I learned to realize that it does what all good sports should do: it creates the possibility of joy.

a great line because it's so true.

I am a fan of some other sports, mostly as diversion during the long baseball offseason.

But none of them can deliver the simple joy that that baseball can, when hope becomes truth and fact.

Many Reds fans are feeling joy today, with the Votto news. :)
