You'd better buy your fruits and vegetables now, because the price is going up.

Should I front-load my attendance at the games, then taper off?

Is Griffey's money off the books yet?

I just hope Joey Votto doesn't end his major-league career with one lame last season with the 2024 Portland Beavers or something.

Has anyone considered what this will do to the U.S. trade deficit?

It's only $223 million in Canadian money.

The best thing for Votto is that he doesn't have to share the winning ticket with the rest of his co-workers.

Maybe Brandon Phillips will stay to win a World Series.

Wouldn't it be better if he stayed in school for a couple more years?

If the Reds don't win, the fans will remember that at least the front office showed they meant business.

For this kind of money, Votto should also be the new closer.

I hope Votto doesn't start dating Madonna, Minka and Cameron.

In the year 2023, the NL will have the DH and Marty Brennaman will be a hologram.*

Griffey won't be off the books for a long time. IIrc, he gets paid $1.5M annually with a huge bonus coming in a few years.

For the first time, I really hope a Hoover doesn't suck.

What make you think Marty isn't a hologram now?

I'd give Joey huge props, beyond his baseball skills, if he starts dating Minka.

There's really no way of knowing.

Marty's pessimism transcends the physical constraints of what we know as "the real world". He is undoubtedly a hologram. At best, he's a cyborg with quasi-human tendencies.

I'm not sure the technology has advance quite enough yet to recreate that hair.
