But the Reds' bats woke up against Phillies closer Tom Gordon, as Scott Hatteberg hit a game-tying solo homer with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning. In the tenth inning, pinch-hitter Javier Valentin walked with one out, then advanced to second on a single by Ryan Freel. Adam Dunn then walked to load the bases, and Brandon Phillips delivered the game-winning RBI single to score Valentin.

I see Leo Durocher's name in the Reds lineup. I forget about him playing for the Reds at one time. When I was in the Outer Banks earlier this month I went to a used book store to look around. I found his book Nice Guys Finish Last, written in 1975, and bought it. I will start reading that in the next day or two and can't wait. I read a few snippets in it and it seemed entertaining to say the least. Didn't seem like he held Cesar Cedeno in very high regard. :)
