Matt Belisle pitched a complete-game five-hitter with 5 K's on only 89 pitches to get the win for the Reds. I was at this game--it was Freddy Sanchez Bobblehead Night at PNC. Two middle-aged Pirates fans were heckling me in a joking way early in the game because I had my Reds cap on. They were asking me about Ken Griffey Jr.'s absence. "What's wrong with Griffey? Hamstring? Knee? Hangnail?" I responded, "Diverticulitis." Suddenly, the two men became very somber and only said, "Oh. I see." They didn't say anything more about Griffey the rest of the night.
