I love to hear the crowd along with the announcers, makes the game more exciting to watch, especially a sold out game. Baseball has a hard time attracting the "fringe" fan because they think its slow and boring...but the crowd noise would make it seem a little better I think?:confused:

They've got microphones throughought the stadium to pick up crowd noise. I don't think the location of the announcers makes any difference.
