Heisey and Ludwick have hit him well even though Heisey doesn't have a ton of ABs against him. I'm okay with the lineup...it'd be nice to go ahead and take the series tonight.

Everyone is blacked out on weekends when there is a nationally televised game after 1:00pm (The Yankees and Tigers are the national game, but are in a rain delay...so everyone gets the Cubs and Giants as the backup game.

2. Both umps the last 2 nights sucked. I wonder if Jim Joyce (The guy who blew Gallaraga's perfect game) will ump tomorrow. He already blew that homerun call.

3. Latos seems to be a horrible pick-up - interesting what Homer was saying about it being tougher for him and Latos because they are fastball pitchers. So the Reds traded the farm for a head case whose pitching style is the opposite of the Reds and NL central ballpark strengths. I have never had much of an opinion on Jockety before, but after tonight I am beginning to form an opinion.

3. Latos seems to be a horrible pick-up - interesting what Homer was saying about it being tougher for him and Latos because they are fastball pitchers. So the Reds traded the farm for a head case whose pitching style is the opposite of the Reds and NL central ballpark strengths. I have never had much of an opinion on Jockety before, but after tonight I am beginning to form an opinion.

I don't think he blew the call, even in the replays you can't even tell where the ball hit at.

I heard that stat about him in 2010 and thought about it earlier this year as I watched him pop up twice to infielders.

So it's pretty much BS, I don't even know if they keep track of that stat, but I've seen him do it this year.

I'm sure they do because they keep track of where all your balls are hit. On ESPN game cast it shows what direction and by % your hits are.
