I remember watching that game on TV. The rumors were really going strong that the Mets were going to trade Seaver,probably to the Reds. Seaver was overpowering that night. The Reds hitters couldn't touch him.
Watching him that night you felt like if the Reds could get him they could comeback and win the division.
