Chapman definitely hasn't been the same lately

The Chapman recession. Hope this slump isn't related to his off field concerns.

glad he still got it...but he's still not right, he threw what 4 off speed, they weren't even close

I don't think it's recession as much as hitters making the necessary the adjustments and AC failing to counter.

We always play well when Daren Baker is on the bench.

Chapman completely discarded the slider about three weeks ago. it was only a matter of time before major league hitters adjusted. gotta get back to mixing it up some. I vividly remember an aging Ken Griffey Jr. turning around 104 from Zumaya for a long homer. If they know what's coming, they have a chance no matter how hard.

And the star of the game is:

Mat Latos- the rotations a little frazzled from the flu bug but he stepped up in a big way. Stop thinking. Just throw the ball over the plate with something on it.

Well,you can always find something wrong. Even if it's a 9 pitch 3 K inning....that's just you!!!

Well I'm happy to report that my dour prediction that "the Reds would be in 2nd place after the Cleveland series" was wrong. :beerme:

I'll be going out to Shea or whatever they call it, Friday night. It would really be nice if the boys were shooting for 4 in a row.

Nice bounce back after the Sunday Night debacle to take this series. Lets go for the sweep!

Its different people. There's the Dusty Sucks crowd that comes on when we lose, and there's us front runners that come on when we win.

So true -- go read the analysis of the NBA playoffs. OKC was dead in the water after losing the two games in San Antonio. Now suddenyl the Heat are done because they lost Game 1 on the road in OKC.

I blame Twitter.

Those balls are low.

In a locker room with a bunch of old men?
