And yet he STILL has an .828 ops. And that's after his slump. At the end of the year, I feel he'll be in the MVP discussions.

MVP discussions? Hilarious. I love Jay Bruce. I really do. But I can't see him really doing better than a .275 average, .860 OPS and .350 OBP. And those numbers are completely fine but I don't think he'll ever put himself with the elites of the game.

I get really frustrated by his inconsistency at times, but (after Joey Votto) his .323 OBP is positively astronomical considering most of the the rest of the roster.
