View Full Version : Offense vs. Pitching

The Reds are currently 5th in the NL in ERA.
The Reds are currently 5th in the NL in Runs /Game, and 3rd in OPS.
FWIW, the offense has finally caught up to the pitching.
Hopefully Reds can keep the good hitting going as they head for the road. Right now there's about a .100 point difference between the GABP OPS and the road OPS for the Reds. Obviously the GABP OPS is the higher one.
Pitching has been better away, but not such an extreme difference. Reds have pitched pretty well at home, actually.
Votto is always hot, but it's good to see Phillips get hot, maybe Bruce can make it a trifecta as they go on the road. West Coast trip late this month and in early July should also be interesting.
