I did not see a thread about this but Stubbs has officially been activated off the DL and Willie Harris is being sent back to Louisville

I've asked a time or two but no one seems to answer. Does anyone know what Stubbs line looks like when he's batting 2nd in the line up this year?

When in the world did Stubbs hit in the 9 hole? AL game?

My guess is they are pinch-hit appearances.

.354 BABIP batting 2nd, .130 leading off this year. the batting order thing is likely just a fluke. We pretty much know who Stubbs is; something in the neighborhood of .255/.320/.400 with plus defense. That's an asset, but not a stud. We just need to let him play and stop over reacting to small samples (yes, 150 PA is a small sample when it comes to estimating true talent). Obviously we'd all love him to be the guy from 2010, but odds are that was a best case scenario type season.

I just wish we had a better fit for our needs in LF, namely a guy who can get on base and hit at the top of the lineup. Neither Stubbs nor Cozart should be there long term and especially if Frazier gets the full time 3B gig, this team is going to be hurting for some OBP for the foreseeable future.

Keep him in the two hole. Keeps the team out of double plays in front of Votto. Eventually, get Phillips back to leadoff. Could be a very solid top 3.

Stubbs had a nice night last night. I think he got on base 3 times and scored 2 runs.

While this hot run at the #2 hole may not last forever, it's encouraging and definitely an upgrade from Heisey (who did an awful job filling in).
I was glad to see Stubbs back in the lineup last night.

Outrighted To Triple-A: Willie Harris
By Mike Axisa [June 26 at 8:49am CST]
We'll keep track of today's outright assignments right here, with the latest up top...

The Reds have outrighted Willie Harris to Triple-A according to MLB.com's transactions page. Cincinnati signed the 34-year-old utility player to a minor league contract this offseason and has already outrighted him once before this season. Harris has hit .114/.170/.205 in 48 plate appearances for the Reds and .245/.309/.318 in 123 plate appearances for their Triple-A affiliate this year.
