No Frazier again tonight. I'm not complaining, just observing.

How do you think they're determining when it's a good night to play him? Ludwick and Rolen are both 1/4 lifetime against Estrada, so it's not much of a numbers play.

Not complaining either, this is the lineup I'd go with. But having Frazier on the bench is like having that feeling of a bunch of cash burning a hole in your pocket...you feel bad not spending it. I'm talking about playing Frazier, not trading him.

Good call, was totally ignoring game times. Guess it's hard to argue against Ludwick lately. He's been pretty solid over the last month or so.

Certainly does make our bench that must stronger, though! Here's hoping Rolen can keep up his little mini-tear. It would be a tremendous problem to have after running Willie Harris and Mike Costanzo out there for a while.

Yeah I'm a little surprised Frazier isn't in today's lineup. I thought we'd go Rolen/Frazier today and Frazier/Ludwick tomorrow.

Can you imagine how many home runs the Big Red Machine would have hit if they had stayed in Crosley? Perez, May, Bench, Foster etc.

I remember when Riverfront opened in 1970. There was a lot of talk of how the Reds got off to such a great start in 1970 at Crosley field, would they be able to continue to play so well at Riverfront. The move definitely affected their play, reducing home runs and extra base hits. They went on to win the NL pennant, but were definitely not as dominant in Riverfront. Then they lost to the Orioles in the Series (the Brooks Robinson series).

Cozart with a dumb ab. Give Bronson a breather, no instead swing at the first pitch, miss, then make an out on the second.

Falcon7

Me too. I never tried CF, but I did imitate his swing.

This is getting weird.

I'm a lefty so it was CF for me after little league (If you could catch & throw you played infield or pitched in little league).
Vada used to hold on to each end of the bat and take it over his head and behind his back all the way down to his waist, and of course I did that all the time.

Vada was ultra fast, many say he was faster than Mantle (I'm talking before Mantle got hurt).
IMO, Vada should be in the HOF!
Frank Robinson, Vada and Bill Russell all attended the same H.S. in Oakland.

Hypothetical question, say the Reds score 1 in the 9th to retake the lead....does Dusty leave Marshall out there to finish it off? Or does the Dusty feel that he has to get Chapman back on track?
