Votto > Phillips > Bruce > Stubbs > Rolen > Ludwick > Frazier > Heisey

I hope you get your power back soon. I am fortunate to still have power, I have 3 kids under 6 years old so it was a worry in this heat. I'm glad for a 4 pm start, gives me a reason to stay inside and not clean up the mess outside. LOL

I esp. hate it when Bruce has an AB with a runner on 2B with less than two outs and they do the shift basically giving up the bunt single if he would work at it. Reds could then have a runner on 3rd with 1 out or less in a year in which runs are at a premium most nights all around MLB it seems.

That was a 100% no doubter.

He didn't have great production so to speak as his RBI and runs were maybe not what you'd hope....but the guy played his tail off every time, sacrificed his body, played excellent defense and from May 13th to June 20th he had around 30 starts and hit .302 during that period.

Manager Dusty Baker gave Rolen his customary break from the lineup Saturday with a day game following a night game. There is no thought right now of reducing Rolen's playing time to keep him and his problematic left shoulder fresher.

"Rarely less is more, especially when you're trying to get your stroke. He'll be back in the lineup [Sunday]," Baker said.

Votto doesn't pitch, it will just mean that Baker can't afford to sit and watch Arroyo flounder in the late innings or sit the hot bats we do have on this team to get vets "going". Makes you wonder how many homeruns a roided up Barry Bonds coulda hit if he played in our launchpad.

Bonds without roids was well on his way to 500....in GABP he gets to 600 or 650.

Latos has a 1-hitter and we've had runners on all day but two baserunning blunders and Stubbs not being able to bunt.

This scares me....should be up at least 4

Stubbs not being able to bunt didn't cost us anything. I agree with the fact we should be up more.

??? Cairo's hit scored Cozart. The wild pitch on Phillips' strikeout put Cairo at third and Phillips at first. Bruce and Ludwick struck out.

Reds have struggled against lefties and have struggled against Zito as well. I predict 0/1/2 ER for Zito

Latos will be either lights out or lit up.

He'll either give 5 ER/6K

or 8ip 11K
