Votto K's looking on a nasty 3-2 breaking ball. NL leads 1-0.

Votto has been awful in every all star game he's been in. I dont believe he has got a hit yet

Who cares????? Can you go one day without being negative about a member of the Reds?

im not being negative, i want him to do well and represent Cincinnati but in all star games he always looks overmatched. And the Cardinals players are doing work, 6-0

I find it funny how everyone always says the AL is better than the NL when the NL has the last 2 world series wins and about to be 3 all star wins!!

Man, apparently Joey's the only NL guy who's not gonna get in on the fun. :(

Is there anything worse than an All-Star/Pro Bowl blowout? At least it's in favor of the side that we should want to win.

not when its the AL, they deserve as many beatings as the NL can hand them after they won like 9 in a row or whatever it was

I hope LaGenius sticks with him a little longer, gives Joey one more swing. Would love to see him get in on the fun tonight.

I read somewhere earlier today that Joey was only going to go 3-4 innings to give his knee a rest. LaHair was talking about getting some 1B time tonight.

I don't think Votto has not done much in any national audience games...??

I'm surprised he's still in the game, maybe it's LaRussa? If he was 3 for 3 he would probably be on the bench now.

Did you hear Joe Buck? He said the Cards are behind the Bucs this year, no mention at all that they also trail the Reds, like they don't even matter!

At least it wasn't JB... well yet...

Caught that and thought that was pretty weak. Also mentioned Freese normally a Third Basement but replaced Votto who was 0-3, like Freese came in because of Votto.

He also mentioned how Strasburg has the fastest pitch average in the MLB, didn't mention Chapman.

I know I'm being overly sensitive. ;)

Adam Dunn?

His only AB (2002?) he pinch-hit late and it looked like he hit a monster shot but just missed it and was caught on warning track in CF
