I think the trade is an even trade. Helps the Fish rebuild and the Tiger solidify 2nd Base.

How good a prospect is Jacob Turner supposed to be?

Infante is pretty average. Sanchez is a proven back end rotation starter. Not bad for the Marlins.

Infante slugged like crazy for the first few weeks of the season and has been decidedly under-average since then. Still an upgrade for them, though, I guess.

He is a huge upgrade for them. Detroit's 2nd basemen (Santiago/Raburn/Kelly) have combined to hit under .210 for the season. Infante is hitting .287 this year. Not to mention the defensive upgrade he brings.

Turner is a pretty big price to pay but I think both teams made out well

Very sensible trade. Detroit is now well positioned in the division race and upgraded their worst areas in the short term, while Florida got an elite prospect.
