If not, how many will they win?

I predicted 86 before the season.

Somebody, arguing with me in some thread earlier in the season, said 100. I thought that poster was joking.

Now - I think the Reds will win about 100 games. I voted yes.

Watching these ballgames, the team has the feel of a winner.

P.S. I still want a lefty hitter for the bench on a waiver deal.

I think I'll go with...hmmm...what should I pick?......

*looks down*

Oh yeah. That'll work.

95.

95 is what I think. That will be enough to win the division.

I don't understand the options...

P.S. I'll go with no, they will only win 98.

Yes. 95 in the regular season, 11 more in the playoffs.

99.

Because no one has said it yet and I can say FIRST!

I think I predicted 80.

Glad I was wrong.

The Reds have won 64 games and have 57 remaining. If they play .500 ball, they will end up with 93/94 wins.

At some point, the Reds are going to come back to earth. I'll go with 94 wins.

Where's GL's annual predictions thread? I'm not seeing it in the Predictions archives. Did we not do one this year?

I think I probably predicted them to win 68 games or something. I'll go with 92.

97 seems about right.

I'll be more likely to vote in this poll after this weekend. Even though the Reds record is beyond impressive, a lot of the teams they have played since the break have been lousy ones (including the 2 worst teams in baseball).

97 is my guess

No , but somewhere between 95-99. If they do reach 100, though, Brantley said he would shave off his icecream mustache.

I think they will land at about 98.

Thanks. Looks like I missed the thread but in my friend pool I had them down for 82 wins. Good lord, if the Reds win 82 games, I will slit my throat with a rusty nickel.

I went with 90 wins earlier this year and if we continue winning 61% of our games, we would go to 99 wins. Considering our run differential, I think we have been a little lucky. We do have an easier schedule down the stretch, but I don't know if we will end up with 100 regular season wins.

Count me in for 95 regular season wins and hopefully five more in the playoffs so we do get to 100 total wins this year. Therefore, I voted yes.

I think they've got a great shot. Weak schedule, solid pitching and defense, lots of teams that have already hoisted the white flag that won't be as intense to win.

*looks down* and then "that'll work" - you put down 10?

Not going to hold you to that.. We've already lost too many female posters :)

Only Roy stood up in the Gonelong thread and declared 102 wins, freely choosing to be the outlier, as he said. Bravo, man, bravo. That would require finishing at a 38-19 clip, a robust .667 clip.

I voted 100, but that will also require winning at a fairly strong pace too. I'm guessing now we fall just short of that.

I'll vote 93 just because I feel that have at least that one week slump.

LOL. I was looking at my sig. :p Roy and I picked 102 at the start of the season. Mine was around the middle of the thread.

I'm gonna stick to my preseason prediction of 95 wins.

I said they would win 88 in Gonelongs prediction thread. I think they get 10 more and make it to 98. I figure we will cool down a bit and we will have to make it through one more rough patch. I just can't see it being that rough considering we get Votto back soon and a healthy Brandon.

I said 92 before the season. I might bump that to 95 now. There is probably still a down period before the season is over. I hope they win a bunch in the post season including the last game they play.

They're on pace for 99, and that's after they've been as hot as they've been all year. I think it'll go down from here, but ultimately, they'll win 93.

No but 94 or 95 is pretty impressive at this point.
