I feel like a moron, but what is the Phillips home run and celebration at about 2:50 from? It seems like it was a momentous occasion, but i'm blanking on what it was. Or maybe it was just BPhil being BPhil.

First game after AS break last year against STL.

I think he might have been pinch-hitting too.

Absolutely fantastic. I love the fact that the song is actually about Cincinnnati baseball. Well produced.

Already shared on FB.

Actually the song is about the Mariners ... the parts where the volume goes down it mentions a Seattle radio station and announcer.

Do a quick google search for the lyrics.

Its great but I would have liked it more if it wasn't pulling it from another club.

Yeah, I did zero research. I just heard Griffey and got excited.

Agreed. As someone who does this for a living, it's a good, pro job - but the rap soundtrack is really, really corny.

They didn't cut out the part where he mentions listening to the "M's" on the radio.

Yeah, I made a mistake. Got it.

Not into rap myself, but I thought it was more good poetry to a nice beat. Really good poetry at that. Listen a couple more times. It's really quite beautiful.

I wasn't saying you made a mistake. I thought it was done strictly for the Reds as well, until I saw the comments below on youtube. Heck, it took me hearing it about 10 times to pick up on the part about the "M's".

Still, it's very well done. Whoever put the video to that is extremely talented.

I wouldn't have known either, but I liked it so much I wanted to know about the circumstance around the song ... no snark intended above.
