Going with the righty stack against Wandy (although I guess we pretty much do that every night anyway). Well, we've won our last two against him. Lets make it three straight. Slightly disappointed that Phillips is out, although I did expect it. I guess we're playing with 23 tonight, or did they do something with Valdez?

SYCMiniBus

Bruce is 2-29 with 15 K's against Wandy. Stinks to not have him in order with Votto/BP out, but probably is the right call.

Looking like Brandon's injury is more then just a cramp, gotta take something pretty bad to keep him out of the lineup tonight...

He was good to go today and is apparently not happy he's not starting. Dusty is at least consistent though, once you're ready to go you get one extra day.

Hopefully he is revived. He was ragged against the Astros and flat blew out vs. the Padres. He hasn't done this many innings in a row since 2009 and I think it is showing.

Right now I would Bronson but Latos to me is where Homer was like maybe last year. Tons of talent, but "just" still not putting it together on a consistant basis. But then he is younger and less experienced.

Latos rolling. I know wins and losses aren't the best stats, but 10-3 with a sub 4.00 ERA would sure look good when this one is over.

Maybe I'll stop my chores of a minute to watch the game. Nothing like a insider and a pitcher HR to make you stop and watch. Wait a minute....a successful bunt? Just rolling along tonight aren't we?

Are you flipping kidding me? Dive for the ball!!!!!! Horrible first 3 or 4 steps and let's up instead of diving for it??? Complete horse crap. You have to dive for that ball in that situation 100 times out of 100.....Latos has to be furious. If he dives head first he either catches it and there are 2 outs or he freezes the runner on 1st even more and Heisey is right there to back it up....maybe even the force out at 2nd.

Horrible effort.
