The Brewers only scored in 2 of 27 innings against the Cardinals.....Bronson is 13-8 career against the Brewers.

Playing there makes me think we better score 6 or more tonight.

I'm not trying to be that guy.....this team is big on defense and they keep saying how good Luddy is in LF and Stubbs is one of the best......I wish there was a way to see what Heisey does on those two balls that ended up being 3 runs. Maybe he gets neither....the Ludwick ball may have been higher over the wall than it appeared....but Ludwick always stobes himself against the wall to kill his jump and Stubbs route was terrible and he just simply refuses to sell out for a ball....you know Heisey gets at least as good as Stubbs did and you know he would've not slowed down 2 steps early and jump against the wall.

I understand the situation....I just would've liked to have seen Heisey on those two plays.

Going into this game our starters had a 3.51 ERA and Bullpen had a 1.75 ERA. Worrying about fatigue is one thing, but I don't feel they've been "on again, off again." Solid all year IMO. It will be hard to improve the bench and get a starter that's worth it.

Aoki has saved them several runs tonight. Obviously if that ball drops right there we probably have this thing tied up. But earlier - maybe the 2nd inning - he was positioned perfectly on Hanigan and caught a liner near the line that probably would have scored a couple.
