I am going to be hard put not to award Dale Sveun the #1 Star of the Game.
Cub fan co-worker calls him "Dale".

Is "Sveum" that hard to pronounce or is honeymoon still in effect?

I was going to say that about Dusty.

I have already been called out by Ironman. Isn't that enough?

I always liked Joe girardi as a player.

He had a few rings.

Not often you see a pitcher who can make hitters look as bad as Chapman does. Maybe Pedro from around 2000ish but he was a starter so a little apples and oranges.

rolenmvp

has chapman ever started?

When you are struggling as much as we are, it's nice to get a win.

Tons of red shirts and hats in the stands at Wrigley today - watching the last few innings on WGN.

I will have to sleep on this, but right now I say bringing in this fellow Russell was the worst managerial move in the history of baseball. And I was here for Bob Boone and that dope who now coaches for the Brewers.

To those that still want Chapman to start...consider that we'd get to see that only once every fifth game.

left as the stopper, he's the Reds' Mariano Rivera for the next ten years.

The way Ludwick has taken off, the thoughts of Votto/Ludwick as the 3/4 hitters sounds mighty fine.
Then if Dusty would move BP to the leadoff, Joey might actually have some people on in front of him and see good pitches also.

Votto? Who?

BP leadoff? Dusty doesn't play that game.

Negativity can't keep us down. Like all year long we find ways to win. STAY ON THE GRIND NATI!

So many Reds fans at the game yesterday
You'd have thought we're at home and not playing away
By the 8th and the 9th there was no blue in sight
Then assembled at Sluggers where Reds fans could play.

A thank you to all who made the trip
To watch the Red Legs score 4 off 12 hits
The cubbies they said it is never this red
As our lead in the Central tightens its grip.
