A 4 game sweep here would be beyond awesome with the Pirates and Cards playing each other for 3, meaning we could gain at least a half game even if one picked up the sweep in that series.

Anyone else excited that Cowboy is calling this game? I think he and Grande will do a great job.

So who are you guys rooting for in the Pitt/Stl series? I'm hoping for a Pitt sweep.

A Pirates sweep is the best for us they are far less dangerous than Cardinals

Stray

I'd take a sweep either way assuming we take care of business against Chicago. Just to put one wayyyyy back.

Our announcers really hate Soriano

George tells us that he may not have a error this season but he does not get to many balls, well guess what Georgie he has the 3rd best Range Factor in the league for LF. (2.04, the 2 ahead both have 2.06)

He didn't suck last week. He's young, he's a lefty, and he's pitched some good baseball. I'd be patient with him.
