Bats are down 10-1. Not a good night for them.

Dayton is up 6-1. Sean Buckley is 2-3 with a double, HR and 3 RBI so far. Jacob Johnson had 5 shutout innings, but walked 4 and struck out just 2. Kyle Waldrop was pinch run for, so that might be something to look into later.

Billings is on Milb.tv tonight. No Winker or SMB though. And Idaho Falls has just a basic behind the plate camera set up. Still, might be worth checking out if you subscribe.

Carlos Sanchez just missed tying the Pioneer League record for triples. He doubled and apparently on the relay throw to third there was a bobble and an error was given.

Also in this game is one of Raul Mondesi's kids. This one is barely 17 years old (this is actually his age 16 season). He is hitting .285/.347/.369, which is incredibly impressive given his age and experience level.

Mustangs got 2 in the first. Sal Romano shut them down in the 1st. 2-0.

They are up 4-0 in the 2nd with 2 out.

Another double for Carlos Sanchez. That kid might be a hitter. He was very good his last year in the DSL (2010).

Would like to see him walk a little more or strike out a bit less, but the power seems to be playing quite well.

This doesn't look like a very good team! Outside of Perez and Soto who is hitting .255 no one in the lineup hitting above .250! That isn't good!

Reds Rattlers (Nice double entendre there. Desert rattlesnakes and baby rattles.) fell 5-0 last night. Every Rattler pitcher was scored upon with the exception of Ryan Fennell. His ERA for the year stands at 0.00, albeit in just four outings.
Fennell was recently signed as an undrafted free agent.

"My goal in life is to get drafted and eventually play major league baseball," Ryan Fennell said. "I'll do whatever it takes to reach that goal."

Rattler hitters lashed out five singles. Two each by Jonathan Reynosos (.333) and Adam Matthews (.354) and one by Brent Peterson (.317).
