Yeah...wished we woulda cashed in on some more of those chances we had early in the game.

Me too obviously....I've posted several times about the Reds pitchers leading the world in pitching with bases loaded to the opposing pitcher.....tonight it's role reversal. Cards still have that luck factor.

That being said....we need to string hits together....like we need to do on the road in the playoffs.....I'm not comfortable with that aspect.

Sloppy play by Rolen

Yeah....it was so easy.....in between hopper from 250 feet away at the same time the cleats were going at his wrists.

Didn't say it was easy, Rolen makes that catch/tag 90% of the time though

Yeah...probably, but he's also the defensive 3rd baseman I've ever seen.

Anybody else hate listening to Smoltz? Does he have something against the reds. Just made a comment about the reds getting "weak" hits.

Adam Dunn has 2 HR (427 and 454 feet( and 3 RBI tonight.

Up to 38 HR and 87 RBI.....has zero errors in 365 chances this season. Batting 3rd.

38 HR should equate to a lot more than 87 RBI. Gotta love those solo shots ;)

He's one of the most competitive pitcher's/people ever....any non-line drive is weak to him.....but tonight it's the Cards.

Walt needs to have the Drew Stubbs situation as priority 1, 2 and 3 on his offseason agenda.

He scored tonight BTW.

Taking that strike 3 is just unacceptable.

Walt needs to have the Drew Stubbs situation as priority 1, 2 and 3 on his offseason agenda.

Priority 1.....Make sure Drew Stubbs get in 158 games with 150+ starts.

Priority 2.....he bats 1st or 2nd regardless

Priority 3.....make sure he's still fast

BP is just asking for trouble if he keeps doing the bare-handed double play turn. As good as he is it's going to backfire one of these days.

He had plenty of time to glove it.

The REDS have been humiliated by the Cardinals tonight.

Having had a 7-game lead, that can't be a bad thing.

It will be another of dozens of "re-focusing" that they've endured this season.

This is an amazingly hearty team.

I think long and hard about replacing Bruce with Frazier when Votto gets back.

Get 'em tomorrow.

But, some serious reflection should go on tonight for everyone on the team.

That was one ugly performance team-wise.

from top of 6th till the end, the Reds looked ugly..I keep rooting for Frazier to keep hitting and maybe Dusty isnt going to be dumb enough to sit him for Rolen down the stretch and cost Frazier the ROY, when Votto is back

We played this same game on Monday and gave one away yesterday as well. Dumped 2.5 games to the Cardinals in 4 games, in two more days it could be 4.5 if we don't pull a win out with the lesser ending of the pitching match ups.

I'm still sick Latos could hold up on a ball over his head. If he checks his swing they walk in a run and Cozart's ball to center plates another with Stubbs up with a shot at more. He doesn't we blow another shot and they answer back with 6 and the ball game right afterwards.

Since Molina and BP got into it, Molina has a 1.069 OPS at GABP thanks to hitting .333 with half his hits going for extra bases.
