Latos has given up the same amount of Hr's in about the same amount of innings. Everybody is homerun prone in this park unless your name is Johnny Cueto.

Bailey just gives up to many hits because of a dull fastball.

I am talking about overall. If Bailey had a better fastball, he would be good starter. That is why the pen idea may be a future career move if he can't improve as a starter.

He is compared to Jason Schmidt quite a bit, but Schmidt had a good fastball.

Homer's problem is he can't put the ball where he wants consistently. Either fastball or breaking ball. Always getting too much of the plate where he can be hit hard.

Neither can Latos. But his fastball is better. That is my point. The more electricity of your fastball, greater error can be made.

The Reds should pitch count limit Bailey at 100. Considering his previous injury problems and only throwing 162.2I combined, then the Reds will probably use him in the playoffs in the bullpen but also likely the 4th starter, I don't want to hear about a tired arm. Cueto likewise and more urgently, needs to be watched. Latos and Arroyo should be fine.

Leake probably isn't going to get there the way he has been going lately.

Felt really good to see Homer pick up a W tonight. He's had some tough NDs of late.

Massive free fall and still hanging in there. Amazing.

They are still around by default the Cardinals have lost 15-19 and have lost 4 of 6 to the Pirates over that time and the Cardinals have managed to game 2.5 games in the WC standings if the Dodgers win, if they lose its 3.5.

Its the worst played playoff race in baseball history.
