Pulling for them to beat the Cards and be the 2nd wild card team. With all that talent they added, they just can't seem to put together wins. I don't want to have to face the Cards or the Phils in the playoffs.

Dodgers are really starting to blow it. Cardinals were nearly giving it away with getting sweeped, but they've managed to lose ground.

Shows how important team chemistry can be. Millions of dollars will only buy the talent, not the chemistry.

You want them in the playoffs. For them to make the playoffs they will need to pull together wins. If they make the playoffs they will have all that talent and come in on a winning note.

Kind of a catch 22.

I'm not the least bit scared of the Cardinals. I kindd of want them to not make the playoffs because I hate them, and I kind of want them to make it so the Reds can kill em.

I’m not sure they can do it, but I'm with you. I don't want to face the Phillies or Cardinals...especially the Phillies.

But you have to admit, having the Cardinals squeek in and then sweeping them in the NLCS would be awesome. I would laughing from now until spring training.

They have literally gotten worse with all the trades they made. Sometimes adding a bunch of players is worse for team chemistry more it is a help on the field

The Dodgers are the worst team in playoff contention they are 13 games under .500 over the last 101 games. They made all those moves to help the offense and have a MLB worst 28 runs the last 13 games.

With 12 of 18 against playoff teams and 3 of the other six coming against the white hot Padres they will have a batter to finish .500 overall after a 30-13 start. Even if they pulled a rabbit out of a hat and took the next 3 from the Cardinals they still would find a way to blow it back to the Cardinals or someone else.

Heard that stat on ESPN Radio today. 25 runs scored this month. And we thought the Reds' offense was struggling. Ouch.

It's the pitching I'm afraid of with the Phillies and Cards. I'd rather have to face Dodger pitching. Outside of Kershaw, there's no threat there.

When we play the Dodgers next week, we'll play to a 20 inning 0 - 0 tie. They'll call the game on account of neither team able to score:laugh:

We have only scored 32 this month. These guys better wake up soon or it may be a very short post season.

Games like tonight make the Dodgers mediocre ways so frustrating, especially the last three games losing 3 in a row by one 1-0, 3-2 and 2-1 scoring all their runs int he first before the offense vanishes. Then tonight they score 8 and answering back with 7 RBI with 2 outs.
