This is the lineup I want to see. It is funny Valdez can bat 2nd and Didi hits 8th.

Probably get no-hit.

Ironman92
09-16-2012, 11:11 AM
I want the Reds to win in blowout fashion...but I also want to see Stanton rattle all that crap in CF.

NebraskaRed
09-16-2012, 11:32 AM
Blowout or barely squeak by, I would just like a win period.

Ironman92
09-16-2012, 11:47 AM
A win is great....but let's get rolling offensively for the playoffs at the right time....and that time is nearing.

Our 2 best pitchers are struggling.....do what needs done.

Ironman92
09-16-2012, 01:12 PM
The Janish pop out to start the game.

Ironman92
09-16-2012, 01:12 PM
Heisey just misses a double....now for the whiff

Ironman92
09-16-2012, 01:14 PM
100 foot pop out followed by a 225 foot pop out.

Ironman92
09-16-2012, 01:15 PM
Votto rips a single AND rounded aggressively around 1st....that's a good sign!

NebraskaRed
09-16-2012, 01:23 PM
Votto looking a lot more comfortable the past couple of games.

NebraskaRed
09-16-2012, 01:23 PM
Latos with 1 K

NebraskaRed
09-16-2012, 01:25 PM
And Latos with 2 K's

NebraskaRed
09-16-2012, 01:26 PM
1-2-3 inning for Latos.

NebraskaRed
09-16-2012, 01:35 PM
Frazier throws his bat at the ball for a single.

NebraskaRed
09-16-2012, 01:37 PM
Didi with his first major league RBI

Reds lead 1-0

NebraskaRed
09-16-2012, 01:41 PM
Phillips K's

Mutaman
09-16-2012, 01:43 PM
This Didi just looks like a ballplayer.

Mutaman
09-16-2012, 01:43 PM
And he hits lefthanded!

NebraskaRed
09-16-2012, 01:44 PM
Stanton with a first pitch single

NebraskaRed
09-16-2012, 01:54 PM
3 K's for Latos

Ironman92
09-16-2012, 01:57 PM
Hard one hopper by Heisey....ball bobbled and Heisey beat it out.

Carlos Lee playing good defense early on at 1st

NebraskaRed
09-16-2012, 01:57 PM
Heisey singles, Votto K's

Ironman92
09-16-2012, 01:58 PM
Heisey singles, Votto K's

I think they ruled it an error....

Ironman92
09-16-2012, 01:59 PM
Luddy hit it hard...but nothing here (HR in Cincy)

Ironman92
09-16-2012, 02:03 PM
Heisey singles, Votto K's

Yeah...it was scored an error, Heisey's hustle caused him to be safe. Few bust it out on a ball immediately caught by the 3rd baseman.

Mutaman
09-16-2012, 02:22 PM
Left handed hitters against a right handed pitcher: What a cioncept!

Tie game

Ironman92
09-16-2012, 02:35 PM
Navarro and Gregorius have been solid!

Ironman92
09-16-2012, 02:42 PM
Votto getting going....another pull hit

Ironman92
09-16-2012, 02:44 PM
Luddy another rip....he's been warm since he signed my son's baseball.

Ironman92
09-16-2012, 02:48 PM
Ruggiano is an excellent CF

Ironman92
09-16-2012, 02:54 PM
Navarro now 3-3 with the go ahead RBI

He's now 7/10 off of Nolasco

Nolasco was at 93 pitches to start the AB and reliever ready in pen.....but the statistical "W" came into play as it was 4 2/3 innings....going for the team win...you gotta go to the relief.

Navarro up to .333

NebraskaRed
09-16-2012, 02:57 PM
I really like what we've seen from Navarro and Gregorius

Ironman92
09-16-2012, 03:09 PM
Heisey takes and BP steals

Ironman92
09-16-2012, 03:11 PM
Never heard of this guy throwing 97

Ironman92
09-16-2012, 03:11 PM
Gotta walk Votto, but Luddy hot too

Ironman92
09-16-2012, 03:12 PM
87 mph pitchout? Lol

Ironman92
09-16-2012, 03:14 PM
Reyes ran with his head watching the ball, but a few steps straight back and he catches that ball.

Luddy produces again!

NebraskaRed
09-16-2012, 03:17 PM
Ludwick delivers!

NebraskaRed
09-16-2012, 03:30 PM

Ironman92

NebraskaRed
09-16-2012, 03:40 PM

09-16-2012, 04:04 PM
Nice call Dusty...

Mutaman
09-16-2012, 04:09 PM
Don't mind gettig beat by Reyes, but Austin friggin Kearns?

The Rage
09-16-2012, 04:10 PM
Dammit Mat, you gotta step up and get through that 8th ala Bailey vs. the Pirates in the 7th.

This team's head isn't there right now.

NebraskaRed
09-16-2012, 04:12 PM
One run here would be nice, two would be better, three would be...eh, who am I kidding? They need to get one run here at least

Mutaman
09-16-2012, 04:14 PM
This reminds me of the Kearns/Dunn era: get an early lead and fritter it away.

Mutaman
09-16-2012, 04:38 PM

DocRed
09-16-2012, 04:53 PM
Heckuva a nice job by Ondrusek there to get out Superman Stanton...kudos.

The Rage
09-16-2012, 04:54 PM
Time for Joey to get off the power slide and take his frustrations out on the Marlins.

Mutaman
09-16-2012, 04:54 PM
Ondrusek has been a real disappointment, but that was nice. Good effort. Lets win this thing now!

DocRed
09-16-2012, 05:01 PM
See...good things happen when you start Heisey Dusty! ;)

Mutaman

I might have been wrong about this Ludwig fellow.

Ironman92
09-16-2012, 05:12 PM
I might have been wrong about this Ludwig fellow.

My son got his autograph Wednesday and he's since found his swing.

NebraskaRed
09-16-2012, 05:13 PM
Hopefully Broxton finishes this game off and we get a win. Looking at the amount of hits versus runs, they should have scored a lot more but given how little offense the Reds have provided lately, they've made quite an improvement today

Ironman92
09-16-2012, 05:19 PM
Ugh....a walk with 2 outs SMH

Mutaman
09-16-2012, 05:20 PM
Get the ball over thye plate!

Ironman92
09-16-2012, 05:21 PM

NebraskaRed
09-16-2012, 05:27 PM
I take back half of what I've said about Stubbs

Mutaman
09-16-2012, 05:28 PM
Baseball in the age of SeliG: This ump has been out there for 5 hours, I'm sure he has a plane to catch, Broxton throws a great pitch over the plate at 2-2, and he calls it a ball. Would have served him right if the game had gone another 10 innings.

Mutaman
09-16-2012, 05:30 PM
Sweep this.

And the star of the game:

Red's pen- Sam, Ondrusek, Marshall and Broxton. Nice effort boys.

NebraskaRed
09-16-2012, 05:31 PM
They definitely should have been able to get more runs off of 17 hits, but the way this offense have been I think 5 runs and 17 hits earns them a big

Mutaman
09-16-2012, 05:34 PM
That was as gutsy an effort as I've seen all year. Good job boys.

Mutaman
09-16-2012, 05:37 PM
My son got his autograph Wednesday and he's since found his swing.

I remember seeing him at Yankee Stadium in June when he was hitting .200 and I was ready to ship him to Dubuque. I was watching him on deck and in the outfield and I was thinking, this guy looks like a real ball player, what's his problem?
He hit a prodigious blast off of CC that day and he's been doing it ever since.

Thank God for that crazy curved wall 415 feet away....lol EASILY out in GABP.

Extremely fortunate win by the Reds.

It's our year.

Einstein was right. Time is relative. And a day off during the baseball seems as if it lasts a millenium. I need some baseball.

Yep. That ball hits off the wall behind the Crawford Boxes in Houston.
