I thought MLB network or maybe even FSN would break into that Marlins game to show us the AB of Greenberg ... anyone see it? Ended up in a K which you kind of had to expect but just thought for such a cool story they would have made it more visible. I did however ask Buster Olney via tweet what happened and he replied to me with a simple 'struck out' ... that was kinda cool

Is an awesome story, and happy for Adam. Most of the stoires on this have compared him to Moonlight Graham from Field of Dreams. Cool side note, both Adam and the real Moonlight Graham both attended UNC!!

ESPN2 broke into it from BBTN. He was fooled by the knuckle ball 3 pitches in a row. Took the 1st one, fouled the second one I believe, and whiffed on number 3. Dickey said he was going to pitch him straight up...like the major league hitter he was!!! I thought that line was pretty classy!!!

That is a classy comment by Dickey, and respectful to the game. Part of me was hoping he would groove one down the middle and let Adam club it, but I dont think he would want to have a hit given to him, wanted his chance to earn one and got it.

Overall I thought it was nicely done. Very classy by the Marlins to do this and Dickey's comments and the way he handled it was very nice also. I think only the Cubs come out of this looking like bafoons.

Cool, thanks for the feedback on it- I wish he would have been able to put the ball in play but what a neat story overall.

How strange would it have been if he was HBP again?
