Saw this on Fay's blog and found it interesting. Vegas odds:

Odds to win the 2012 World Series
Cincinnati Reds 5/1
New York Yankees 5/1
Washington Nationals 5/1
Detroit Tigers 6/1
Texas Rangers 7/1
Oakland Athletics 15/2
San Francisco Giants 15/2
Atlanta Braves 12/1
Baltimore Orioles 15/1
St. Louis Cardinals 15/1

Odds to win the 2012 AL Pennant
New York Yankees 9/4
Detroit Tigers 11/4
Texas Rangers 13/4
Oakland Athletics 7/2
Baltimore Orioles 7/1

Odds to win the 2012 NL Pennant
Cincinnati Reds 2/1
Washington Nationals 9/4
San Francisco Giants 3/1
Atlanta Braves 13/2
St. Louis Cardinals 7/1

Vegas has a fair amount of faith in the Reds. That actually makes me feel better.

Makes sense the WC teams are so low down considering their season is on the line with a coin flip.

Nice to see this tho.

And somewhere between here and cashing in that ticket it is all going to be riding upon one at-bat by Drew Stubbs. Comforting thought, isn't it?

I like that Vegas picks the Reds to win the NL pennant.

Turned $20 into $60 playing roulette and then put that all on the Reds. So not a huge wager, but I'll get about $960 back should we ascend to baseball nirvana.

Come on man, just lay a bunt down!

I think you have a solid chance of cashing in. Not saying the Reds can't be beaten. I am saying that they won't be beaten.

Hey, a thousand is a thousand. No shame in that money.

I had a buddy put a bet on the Reds in vegas @ 55-1 in I think 2010. Just missed it on a $20 bet.

I hope you win!

Forget Vegas odds. It just hit me like a bolt from the blue. Next powerball drawings I am going with the uniform numbers of the first six Reds in the lineup. Like taking candy from a baby.
