I was OK with starting Leake when he was named as the Game 4 starter. And I should have known better.
Anyone think Cingrani should have replaced Cueto given the LH and SH bats in the SF lineup?
In retrospect, I think that was probably the move a chess-master makes.

I actually was saying to my dad the night before I would like to see cingrani pitch since the giants have never seen him before. but you never know how he would of responded to a big playoff situation like that. I guess looking at it now it wouldn't of hurt to put him out there since leake didn't do good anyways but I'm sure no matter what the reds FO were gonna throw the most experienced guy out their on full rest.

I think it was a crap shoot for Dusty to choose Leake. I would have had Leake on a very short leash. I would have pulled him after the 2nd HR. Cingrani would have been a middle innings guy for me.

IMO -- no --- too much to ask of him
I think the FO played it right on this mess

Hindsight is 20/20 but he couldn't have done worse than Leake.

Not sure about that, but they chose about the worst option they had short of doing something like that.
Running Leake out there was conceding the game. You can't concede a game in a short series. I knew the series was over the moment it was announced.
