In other news, Edinson Volquez just requested a trade to the Mariners.

Edison's now hoping for an expansion team to play in the Grand Canyon.

Has anyone who built a giant ballpark not moved their fences in?

How long until the Reds move the fences out?

How long until the Reds move the fences out?

We've been told it won't happen and it's too impractical.

Much easier to move them in than to move them out.

It is impractical, the only thing they could do is build giant walls, besides as we saw this year, get good pitchers and it all works out.

Miami should be next. They have the Grand Canyon south.

Move the fences back and the Reds will NEVER score. *grin* Just kidding.

And no one will ever score on Homer Bailey again, either. :D

The Reds could make an adjustment in left center in the bullpen area and move back the grassy knoll to make a left center to dead center Death Valley. Otherwise, they're taking away seats.

But, just as a reminder, despite the continued perpetuation of the myth, GABP giveth the homer, taketh away the gaps, so it is not as offensively friendly as it continues to be mythologized. Most of its reputation came from the steroid era and bad Reds pitching staffs.

Just raise the fences about 20 feet. Make 'em out of clear plexiglass so they don't lose any seating. As an added bonus, Stubbs won't flinch as he approaches the wall if he can't see the wall. :O)

I wonder if the Padres are moving the fences in to make a run at signing Ludwick as a FA.
