Yeah, that was supposed to be what Stubbs was going to bring to the table, but unfortunately, Stubbs rarely gets to the table (dude must be HUNGRY!).

I was never under the impression that Stubbs was anywhere near ready to be in the majors, he never had been great in the minors and the only thing he could do was run and play defense

Opening Day centerfielder will be Drew Stubbs. Unless something amazing falls into Walt's lap.

I agree completely even though he is still the second best option who was on the 25 man roster but he has too high of a career OBP for Dusty to give him consistent playing time.
