Super sad news. Weird too, cause just last week I was talking to a buddy who is a Cards fan about Stan the man. He said he saw him on opening day in St. Louis, and said he can't believe he is still hanging in there. RIP:(

The Cardinals are having their annual fan fest (Winter Warmup) this weekend so I'm downtown. I went down to the Musial statue last night for a couple of hours. There was a make shift memorial already popping up at that hour, that has grown today. I was lucky enough to meet him at the winter warmup about 12 years ago and shook his hand. He was so unbelievably nice and one of the truly great things about baseball. He will be missed.

Thanks for posting that video. I had never seen it. How great was it that Rose was playing that game too and was able to hand him the ball from his last hit. Nowhere else but baseball could this happen.
