I know but the force at 2nd was the only out on that play right?
Re: Philadelphia vs. Cincinnati Tuesday 9/4/2012
I think they called a catch then a double up at 2nd base. He didn't catch that IMO, but still a heads up play.

We will find out in a minute or two. Strange play. But good for the Reds.
Re: Philadelphia vs. Cincinnati Tuesday 9/4/2012
The threw it to 2nd and got the force, then threw it home and never tagged anyone
Re: Philadelphia vs. Cincinnati Tuesday 9/4/2012
wow this is gonna be one of, if not the most wackiest plays in all of baseball this season
Re: Philadelphia vs. Cincinnati Tuesday 9/4/2012
Hanigan never touched home. There was only 1 out on that play that I saw lol.
Re: Philadelphia vs. Cincinnati Tuesday 9/4/2012
They called that a catch LOL
Re: Philadelphia vs. Cincinnati Tuesday 9/4/2012
That clearly was no catch. I saw that in real time.
Re: Philadelphia vs. Cincinnati Tuesday 9/4/2012
home is not a force out after the out at 2nd, so it does not matter if he touched home
Re: Philadelphia vs. Cincinnati Tuesday 9/4/2012
If it was a catch then they have to tag someone. Phillips tug second but not the runner. Right?
Re: Philadelphia vs. Cincinnati Tuesday 9/4/2012
i mean ill take it lol, but the Reds inept offense needs to do something to advantage of this

That's what I was thinking. Should have been 1st and 3rd with 2 outs.
I'll take it tho.
Re: Philadelphia vs. Cincinnati Tuesday 9/4/2012
But doesnt the force out at second take away a force out at home?
