This would be the unlikely scenario of the Bengals losing to the Steelers, the Steelers beating the Browns, and the Bengals still making the playoffs.
Let's hope it doesn't come to that.
Again, that's not possible either. If all three finished 9-7, only the Steelers/Ravens would make it in.

It comes down to Strength of Victory, as outlined above. Both the Colts/Bengals would be 6-6 in Conference and 3-2 in Common Games.
Re: 2012-2013 Bengals Discussion
I really hope we don't have to watch the Bengals get pimp slapped by the Stealers again with the playoffs on the line.

If it wasn't possible, then the Colts would have clinched a playoff spot already. They haven't. See 5TimeWS post, and you can also check out ESPN NFl Playoff Machine, and here for a summary of why Colts haven't clinched http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...clinch-sunday/

In fact, if all 3 teams in the North finished 9-7, the Steelers would win the Division I believe.
Bengals fans need to root for Oakland this weekend. One good thing about Baltimore winning this week, is it could jump the Bengals over the Colts Strength of Victory

True, but it probably won't matter anyway. The odds of KC beating the Colts, even at home, are not very good.

You would think, but this Colts team is incredibly unimpressive.
It's no gimme they win either of these games.
Re: 2012-2013 Bengals Discussion
Eventually Dalton and co. gotta get over the hump and beat Pittsburgh/Baltimore. May as well do it today.

A big part of me knows they'll probably get crushed, but the kid in me is excited over the possibility of an improbable win. :beerme:

Good lord I despise boneheaded football. Running into the freaking kicker............. Holding on punt returns when you don't need to....... derp
Re: 2012-2013 Bengals Discussion
Ben-Jarvus not having his best game so far.
Re: 2012-2013 Bengals Discussion
Dalton is making some nice throws today. Still, the offense needs to get going.
Re: 2012-2013 Bengals Discussion
Both defenses playing well. We gotta cut out the mistakes and tackle a little better, but 10-0 not too bad.
Huge possession here because good teams find a way to score before the half.
Welp so much for that lol. 10-7
