Re: Tuesday April 9 Minor League Game Updates
Stephenson's final line: 5 IP, 5 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 9 K
Jesus Adames (2 IP) and Sean Lucas (1 IP) pitched scoreless relief, but Dayton managed only two singles--Vincej and Mejias-Brean--in a 1-0 setback.

Bakersfield maintains their perfect record (of futility), getting shut out 3-0 by Visalia.

Was hoping Yorman has a breakout year, but he may get pitched around all year...:(

I doubt anyone will be pitching around Yorman. None of the Blaze hitters are scaring pitchers at this point, including Rodriguez.
Re: Tuesday April 9 Minor League Game Updates
If Cingrani continues at this pace, I wonder when we can start talking about trading Mike Leake to the Padres for Max Fried or Austin Hedges?
Re: Tuesday April 9 Minor League Game Updates
You can talk about dealing Leake all you want, but not for Max Fried. He's likely untouchable in that system.
Were it me, I'd target SS prospect Trevor Story from Colorado. He's blocked by Tulo (who's nigh untradeable) and putting up very good numbers. Scouts like him a bunch too.

Agree but Leake in Colorado would be a complete disaster IMO. Colorado needs groundball pitchers not guys like Leake. That's one of the reasons I think SD is such a good fit (also happens to be his hometown). Hedges is probably not untouchable given the presence of Grandal.
Or we could trade him to his college stomping grounds for SS prospect DiDi Gregorious
