40% of $360 million is $144 million.
I'll play $1 (1) if the pot is over $70 million, and (2) I happen to remember to buy a ticket while I'm already out.
What would I do if I won?
I'm not going to lie. It would be the most epic downward spiral of self-indulgent debauchery that the world has ever seen.
Wouldn't it be 40% of $259M if one took the cash option?
In other news, I didn't win sadly. :(
Re: Estimated jackpot $356 million
Neither did anyone else... Friday's jackpot currently stated at $476 million.
Re: Estimated jackpot $356 million
Put down one dollar and ended up winning two (got the Mega Ball and nothing else). Letting that entire two dollars ride on the next one. Yes, I like living on the edge. :)
Re: Estimated jackpot $356 million
I bought $5 and got zero numbers. Back to the liquor store!
Re: Estimated jackpot $356 million
I'd seriously consider not telling anyone. Just tell them I'm retiring early and I did well with my 401k's.

I call that reinvesting the dividend. No one at the gas station thinks I'm funny.

I don't know what Ohio's law is, but some states won't let you claim your prize anonymously.
Re: Estimated jackpot $356 million
According to the article below, now half a billion (and will likely be even more once the drawing finishes)!
