Re: 7/31/13 Reds v. Padres - break out of this funk edition
The Reds' pitching staff now knows how Jake Peavy felt for several years.

Let's see...looking toward the future. We need a third baseman, a shortstop, a left fielder, a center fielder and a catcher. That's assuming you'd like to find players that can hit above .250.
I know it's a long season and this was a long road trip. I get so sick of hearing these guys cry about it. You get paid millions of dollars to play a game. You work 3-4 hours a day and you are in better shape than 99.9% of the country.
Can you imagine going to your boss and saying you can't perform even the simplest tasks because you were tired after 8 hours?
Just frustrated rambling that this team is going to blow it again this year.
Bengals, Buckeyes and Reds fan = I clearly hate myself.

First 3 inn 38 pitches
Next 3 inn 48 pitch
Homer can go 8
Re: 7/31/13 Reds v. Padres - break out of this funk edition
2 ex-Reds with 3 of the 4 Padres hits. They must not have been around Reds coaches and managers much, so they didn't learn to hit the Reds way.

Don't have time to get the image, but google Todd Frazier spray chart. Sure, he's not Joey Votto, but saying he doesn't hit the opposite field is simply not true.

I didn't hear anything about trades. Did anything happen? Did we trade for Kelly Leake? or the girl who was Buttermaker's step-daughter or something?

I would assume its more like 8-13 hours a day depending on the player. There's a lot more than just playing a game
