Re: UC Football 2013 ("The Afterthought Athletic Conference")
UC gets 9 wins just for rolling out of bed this season. My god what an abomination the AAC is, and UC doesn't even play UCF.
The Louisville/UC game at the end of the year is gonna be a great one.
Re: UC Football 2013 ("The Afterthought Athletic Conference")
Does this AAC conference have any Bowl affiliations? Did they inherit the Big East Bowl tie ins?

The AAC IS the old Big East. It just changed its name. The new Big East is a completely new entity. The AAC has the automatic BCS bid and four or five other bowl ties (Champs Sports is the #2 bowl).

Wow. Hard to believe that they retained their automatic BCS bid. Of course there is no "new" Big East in regards to football

They retained it, likely, because the BCS is ending this year and no one really thought it necessary to strip them for this final year.

This is the last year of the BCS, so it's not that big a deal. If Louisville goes undefeated, it will be a complete non-issue, because they'd have been in anyway.
They'll be part of the "others" (with the MWC, MAC, C-USA and Sun Belt) who will combine to get one bid to the major bowls from here on out, though.

Do they retain the other Bowl tie ins after this year?
Re: UC Football 2013 ("The Afterthought Athletic Conference")
So um...lets go ahead and score sometime today please.

Not exactly a clinic in football being put on by these teams!:(
Re: UC Football 2013 ("The Afterthought Athletic Conference")
It's not the first time the offense failed to make the trip to Oxford. But yeah, not much to celebrate this weekend.

Very sad news. I hope the other passengers recover fully.
Re: UC Football 2013 ("The Afterthought Athletic Conference")
Not many UC fans very happy with Tuberville or Eddie Gran right now. USF is a really bad team, horrible loss.
Re: UC Football 2013 ("The Afterthought Athletic Conference")
They deserve every bit of criticism thrown at them after that sorry excuse of a game.
