5. Loretta bounces a single off EE's glove to Kepp, throw not in time.
6. Pence flies to center.
7. Bourn flies to right.
8. Quintero Ks swinging.
Mid 6th: Astros 2, Reds 0.
Arroyo now at 118 pitches, with 7 Ks. Bronson with a quality start.
Rosales on deck. ML debut, I believe.
Rosales just showed he can do what the other players are currently doing.
Rosales with a first pitch out. He'll fit in fine around here.
8. Bako Ks swinging.
9. Rosales (for Arroyo) flies to warning track in right (on the first pitch: he will fit right in).
1. Keppinger flies to right.
After 6: Astros 2, Reds 0.
Arroyo 118 pitches, 70 strikes.
Brian 'Cy" Moehler 61 pitches, 41 strikes.
Reds have 2 hits tonight in another example of how bad of a hitting club this is. They may never win again with the present personnel. I have to believe that this roster is one of the worst in Reds history. Hackers everywhere.
Affeldt on in relief. Bombs Away Dream Babies!
On the other side of the field, we probably have scored all the runs we are going to score tonight. Sad.
Certainly one of the very worst teams in the last 50 years. A few more years of this and I really fear for the franchise.
If I were Dunn I might fake an injury and skip out on the last 8 weeks of this stuff, he may never get hot again surrounded by the hacktastic brady bunch and Jay Bruce.
Nice job by Affeldt to put the Reds even deeper in the hole.
I don't know how you all feel about Affeldt, but I hope he's not back next year. Another vastly overpaid Krivsky bullpen failure.
I fear for it already. Unless something is done soon, it will be a task that not only no one will want to tackle, but dang near impossible without 100's of millions of dollars. The sins of Jim Bowden, Dan O'Brien, Wayne Krivsky, Carl Lindner, and finally Robert Castillini will have, in effect, destroyed one of the oldest franchises in sports history.
