Well it's certainly an interesting lineup. I assume we'll see Bruce and Rolen in tomorrow's day game.

Lefty on the hill for Dbacks. Hope Jay has not re-injured himself.

Watch Bloomquist do something silly, like hit for the cycle or something.... ;)

Well, it IS the year of the rally onion...so we can just call him The Bloom'n Onion.

I think Bloomquist actually hits LH a little bit. I actually think Gomes might have a good night tonight.

True of Bloomquist so far.
As for Gomes, tonight will provide a little look-see as to how mired he is at the plate. If he can't get any good swings off Saunders, it's got to give the team pause.

I'd be willing to bet that Phillips gets tomorrow's game off, so perhaps Dusty is staggerring things a bit so as to not have everyone out at once and get Cairo 2 straight days in the field.

He should. And he's not the only one... Day game after night game, day before a long road trip.
Re: 9-15 D'Backs@Reds: Enter Bloomquist
Tonight's lineup will probably score 8-10 runs, it's just how baseball works sometimes.
